Murphy and Peña are suspended for their actions. President Gaviria sends troops to the prison to move Pablo to a 'secure prison' under the pretext of a threat to Pablo's safety. After being sent to La Catedral to negotiate with Pablo, Eduardo Sandoval, the Vice Minister of Justice, realises that the troops haven't even attempted to take Pablo into custody, and enters La Catedral to take Pablo into custody himself
