Mr Khan can't believe what he's hearing when his wife announces her plans for a traditional family Christmas. For one, he thinks the festive season is just an excuse to rip people off - and two, he feels that being Muslim is a good enough reason not to celebrate. However, he loses the argument and is sent out to buy a tree and decorations, taking a detour to make a donation to the mosque's charity collection - unaware he has given away his wife's favourite family heirloom. There follows a desperate race as he goes to extraordinary lengths to retrieve it - while also trying to get his hands on the last tree in Sparkhill.
