Cattle arrived in Ireland about 6,500 years ago, though the horse, goat and sheep arrived at a later stage. There were some smaller uninvited mammals that also arrived and which must have been a welcome addition to the diet of some mammals and birds, such as the barn owl. Hidden cameras observe some of the wildlife living close to farm animals
