The competition kicks off at Manor House Inn in Haltwhistle, Northumberland, run by Terry and Rachel. Guests Tony and Paula are immediately enamoured of their room, revelling in the romance of the honeymoon suite. Over drinks, the B&Bers size up the competition as they compare their hospitality experience, with one revealing that they're a veteran of the industry. After a sound sleep for some, Dean wakes up with a headache thanks to a banging headboard, and things don't get any better for him at breakfast
