When Mike buys a strange comic book titled 'Crying Man / Boastful superhero Black Knight sneaks into a house to acquire a Hero Book but accidentally starts a fire. / Nick is excited at the prospect of becoming famous by superhero videos, and even crafts a hero costume for him and names him as Super Awesome Man. / Mike has to put aside differences and take up the identity of Super Awesome Man to save his friend from Dirk and his Hero Book, Mummy Girl! / Nick and Mike try to uncover the true identity of a Reader who is using his Hero Book powers to take revenge on bullies at their high school.
