Ronnie and Sam are given 10 hours to find a hostage who was taken by two armed men, following a bungled robbery in which an innocent 'have-a-go-hero' was shot dead. When one of the accused is seized, the team is offered a deal - he will tell them the location of the captive in return for immunity from prosecution.
