The presenter explores the hidden lives of some of the best-loved Welsh wildlife, including wild rabbits, badgers and the rare and threatened water vole. Using carefully designed artificial burrows, the natural historian observes how these animals live and behave underground. He also discovers how to build life-size burrows and introduces the 'furry stars' whose progress will be monitored each week
