The comedian meets a lurcher that was abandoned and left tied to a gate at Battersea's Kent branch. The dog is emaciated and cannot be rehomed until it has reached a healthy weight, but the good news is there's already a potential new owner waiting in France. Also arriving at the home is a four-month-old terrier cross with bundles of energy, and a family who are looking forward to a reunion with their pet, which went missing 18 months previously
