Cathy Macdonald presents live coverage of the premier competitions for rural choirs at the Royal National Mòd in Oban. Choirs from all over Scotland will be vying to win the Lorn Shield and the Sheriff MacMaster Campbell Memorial Quaich. These were last won in Paisley in 2022 by Lochs Gaelic Choir and Bùrach respectively. Joining Cathy in the studio to offer assessments on both competitions will be two knowledgeable guests with a keen interest Gaelic choral music. The programme also features the choirs who won the STV Grampian Trophy for Ladies Voices and The Aline MacKenzie Memorial Trophy for Puirt à Beul earlier in the day
