Rag-and-bone man Harold invests his father Albert's life savings in buying a racing greyhound. However, the dog is in no fit state to compete, and after a disastrous debut, the hapless pair end up heavily in debt. Wily Harold soon has another plan to get the money they need - involving faking Albert's death. Comedy based on the TV series, starring Harry H Corbett, Wilfrid Brambell and Diana Dors
