Christine is in hospital for an operation and Beth and Eric visit with the supplies she requested. But instead of finding her sore and exhausted after surgery, they discover she has been sleeping off her dinner because the procedure has been postponed until the following morning. As nurse Heather deals with Christine's demands, Colin arrives followed by Michelle and Alan and the ensuing group discussion leaves Christine very worried about her chances of survival.
