The story of Britain's first paratroop mission. In the early years of the war, British bomber pilots faced almost impossible odds owing to the superiority of German radar technology. A chateau on France's north coast was identified as the site of the radar HQ and, in 1942, 122 soldiers were dropped into the surrounding area with orders to seize the equipment and bring it back to Britain.
