Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer step into the middle of a domestic deadlock in Wolverhampton. Gordon, Suky and their three children live in a four-bedroom home that they bought in 2011, lured by the promise of an indoor pool - but while that feature may still be making a splash, the rest of the house is sinking fast. Suky is desperate to escape as she loathes the gloomy interiors, the severe lack of storage and the claustrophobic, isolating kitchen. On the other hand, Gordon is firmly anchored, convinced that with a little help from Kirstie, their house could become the perfect family home
