In East Ayrshire, a crew from the special operations team attends a two-car crash, treating a patient and reassuring her startled and worried husband and son. In Buckie, two local paramedics attend to a variety of duties from an elderly man with breathing difficulties to someone who has fallen at home while crafting handmade fishing nets. They also head to a police custody suite, where a man is refusing medical treatment for a nasty self-inflicted wound to the neck. Narrated by John Michie
