The gun used to kill a boxer is discovered at the scene of an armed robbery 15 years later, prompting the team to reinvestigate the case. Twenty-one-year-old Eddie Mayfair was shot dead a week after winning an important bout, which left his opponent seriously injured and unable to carry on his career. The detectives initially suspect revenge as a motive, but the case is complicated when they uncover the rivalries and money-making aspects of the sport.
