The contestants travel to The Lion Hotel in Pontypool for the third day of the contest, where manager Marc Harris and head chef Wayne Williams aim to deliver a high end service. Although some of the guests are impressed by the rooms, Ray and Fay find it too small for the price, and simmering tensions between some of the competitors leads to a clash over dinner. At breakfast, Wayne's food comes under fire, but it is David and Donna's feedback about finding a nail in their room that really rattles their hosts
