Rosie, the first orphaned fawn of the year, is soon joined by new-born Lily. Lily was abandoned by her mother before her instinct to suckle kicked in. If the South Essex Wildlife Hospital's team is to bottle-feed Lily and save her life, its members need guzzler Rosie to show her stablemate how it's done. Lois the grey seal pup was malnourished when she arrived having been attacked by a dog and has refused to eat ever since. The team can only keep Lois alive by force-feeding her - but if it proves impossible to find her natural urge to eat fish she can never be released back into the wild
