Armed with £100,000, Gilly and Jane's search got off to a slow start, but they were eventually blown away by the blue shutters they craved on a traditional stone cottage. Seven years on, Laura's back to see what they've done to the place. Leah Charles-King returns to Islantilla in southern Spain, to see how Steve and Carrie are getting on at the sunny home that they bought in 2021. As Carrie and Steve's search got underway, Carrie struggled to find the feeling she was after, until they saw an over-budget townhouse with gorgeous kerb appeal. Kicking everything else to the kerb, their budget-busting offer was accepted.
