Mary Kennedy explores the vibrant cultural melting pot that is Galway and meets those who have moved west. Amy Kerrigan first moved to Galway from Kildare in 2010 when she attended Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT). She now lives in Milltown with her husband Michael, who is Assistant Secretary General at Fórsa trade union. Michael Killeen moved to Galway from Dublin. He worked as a primary school teacher for the past nine years, but now works for a company in the space industry in Galway called Mbryonics
