Vladimir Sevrinovsky, the first of four film-makers in the running for this year's awards that celebrate efforts to bring the world's stories to the screen. Sevrinovsky risked his own safety to tell stories of the Russian families whose sons and husbands have vanished in Putin's war, including a woman burying a dead stranger who shares her husband's name to claim her war widow's pension
