24 Hours in A&E
Season 11 Episode 8 of 11
A 22-year-old cyclist is rushed to St George's Hospital after he collided with a car on the way to work and 'bullseyed' its rear window. Since he was not wearing a helmet, doctors send him for a CT scan to assess whether he has sustained a serious head injury, or life-changing damage to his neck, spine or internal organs. Meanwhile, 91-year-old Peter arrives at A&E three nights after suffering a fall at home, and 26-year-old Emma needs treatment for a head wound sustained during an epileptic seizure
24 Hours in A&E airs on More4 HD at 2:20 AM, Wednesday 27 November. (Subtitles, audio description.)
