Luke Humphries was in fine form in the semi-finals last year, comfortably overcoming Ricky Evans 10-2 to set up a final with Dimitri Van den Bergh, who had prevailed 11-6 against Damon Heta in his last-four match. However, Van den Bergh caused an upset in the showpiece match, edging past the 2024 world champion with an 11-10 triumph.
