FIFA World Cup 2026
Bosnia and Herzegovina v Qatar
Bosnia and Herzegovina v Qatar (Kick-off 8.00pm). Coverage of the Group B match at Seattle Stadium in the USA. Somewhat surprisingly, this is the third time Qatar have competed in an international tournament in North America, having previously appeared at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2021 and 2023 as invited guests. They will hope to emulate their performances at each of those events when they progressed from the group stage on both occasions, reaching the semi-finals in 2021 when they lost 1-0 to the USA, and the quarter-finals two years later when they were no match for Panama and were beaten 4-0. As well as having the edge over Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of tournament experience, they also have the better record in the two previous meetings between these nations, winning 2-0 in the first encounter in 2000, while the second contest in 2010 ended in a 1-1 draw, and it remains to be seen whether either team will benefit from a similar result tonight
