In the penultimate challenge, the four remaining chefs are challenged to create a single exceptional dish, inspired by a place that is special to them, as they fight to secure their place in the final three. After one contestant is sent home, the three remaining chefs travel to Lisbon to experience cooking alongside the acclaimed chef José Avillez. First, they take a trip to an historical food market, where they find ingredients to create their own dish for Chef José to taste, before joining José's brigade of chefs during a packed lunchtime service
