The Larne Gun-Running of 1914 was carried out by Loyalists who were opposed to Home Rule in Ireland. It was a major gun smuggling operation involving the importation of up to 25,000 rifles from Germany into Ulster. The weapons were used to arm the UVF. Tim McGarry and David Hume head to Larne to tell the story of the Ulster Loyalists who were prepared to take up armed rebellion against the British Government.
