Bosnia and Herzegovina earned a 1-1 draw with Canada in their opener with Canada, before succumbing to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Switzerland, despite the match still being goalless until the 74th minute, meaning they now realistically need a win to have a chance of progressing to the round of 32. It was a similar story for Qatar in their first two games, with them earning a shock draw against the Swiss, before things unravelled against the Canadians, as they had two men sent off in a 6-0 hammering, and now only their first ever victory at a World Cup finals will save them from elimination
