Officers begin an investigation after a driver loses control of his car and hits a motorway central reservation before spinning out of control and crossing two live lanes of the A1. The driver claims a mechanical fault caused the crash, but officers think differently when he is quizzed about his phone being used at the time of the accident. In York, a pedestrian is knocked down and left with serious head injuries, and police officers have to find out what happened and who is at fault
