Documentary series following a family who make a living from hand-line fishing in the waters of northern Australia. In a high-risk and high-reward world, the crew battle rough seas, sharks and crocodiles hoping to reel in a profit through prized Spanish mackerel, which can weigh in as much as 30 kilograms per fish. The family endure challenges at every turn until they reach their ultimate destination of Cape Carnage - here, in the wilderness of the Northern Territory of Australia, the fish are huge but the sharks are even bigger. The volatile waters are where money is made, but also where even the most experienced fisherman can be broken. With three generations on board, the crew must also navigate a pressure cooker of family rivalry, relationships, and raising two children on a boat in the middle of the Australian ocean.
