In Cambridgeshire, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer meet house-hunters who want to stay close to home. Single mum-of-two Ali met widower Nick during the first Covid lockdown, and now that they have their first child together, they're hoping to upsize in the picturesque village of Stilton. Newly-weds Hannah and Hugo need to move out of Hannah's parents' house and into their own place - somewhere big enough for Hugo's two children to have their own space when they come to stay. Kirstie soon learns that her Stilton search area is smaller than expected but nonetheless she's committed to get Ali and Nick into their first home together. She shows them some great options - but then a previously over-budget dream house comes within their grasp. Phil is also working with a tight search area, but he still finds a lot for Hannah and Hugo to love. They're looking for that elusive 'feeling' for their first marital home, but that soon develops into finding the balance between head and heart. Whichever way they go, Phil needs to be as sharp as ever if he's to get them over the threshold
