Ross returns to Cornwall in the aftermath of his duel, hoping to make things right with Demelza, but is forced to consider why he chose to accept Adderley's challenge. George returns home to find Morwenna has come to Trenwith in search of Drake, and banishes her from his estate - prompting Elizabeth to take desperate measures that place the life of her child at risk
