Winterwatch in Wales
Iolo Williams presents a selection of stories about elusive creaures and sheds light on how some of them remain undetected. He reveals the array of tiny creatures that take refuge in a log pile in winter - a hibernating butterfly, a centipede on the hunt and an earwig mother carefully tending to her eggs. He also stakes out his garden to get a glimpse of the elusive Welsh pine marten, and is joined by Chris Packham to investigate how the kestrel and barn owl evade detection while hunting
Winterwatch in Wales airs on BBC Two Wales HD at 7:00 PM, Tuesday 25 March. (Subtitles, new.)
