Historical documentary series telling the stories of the seven signatories of the 1916 Easter Proclamation. The first to sign was shopkeeper Tom Clarke, who had been jailed for 15 years after his involvement in a failed bombing campaign in England, and who many believe was the brains behind the 1916 Easter Rising. The prominent Fenian was executed in May 1916 for his part in the rebellion
