A girl is kidnapped by a sex offender in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and efforts to find her are hampered by the interference of a pushy local journalist. She and her abductor are eventually located - but he dies of anthrax poisoning shortly afterwards, raising fears of a major outbreak
