Period drama set in London in 1763 following a woman as she struggles to reconcile her roles as mother and brothel owner. The body of Sir George Howard is found and given the testimony of Thomas Haxby, the main suspects are Charlotte Wells and Daniel Marney, who were seen at his property and - according to him - were covered in mud and blood.
