The designers hit the high street in Salisbury, where they work in pairs to give three retail businesses - a bridal shop, a homeware shop and a lingerie shop - a new lease of life. The designs range from the theatrical, with bold colours and wallpapers, and a cool, contemporary theme, to a safe, colourless look that plays into the hands of an owner who was worried about change. Alan Carr follows their progress, while retail expert Mary Portas joins Michelle Ogundehin to offer her thoughts on the finished designs
