A police inspector is called in to investigate the unexplained disappearance of a body from a morgue, with the only witness to the crime a security guard who is now in a coma. The detective becomes convinced that the dead woman's husband has something to hide, and while he protests his innocence, his personal demons soon overwhelm him.
