Novak Djokovic continued his run to yet another Wimbledon final at this stage last year on Centre Court when he defeated a fellow multiple Grand Slam-winner in Stan Wawrinka 6-3, 6-1, 7-6. Elsewhere, British wild card Liam Broady's campaign came to an end when he lost to Denis Shapovalov in four sets, and Marie Bouzkova won 7-6, 4-6, 7-5 against fifth seed Caroline Garcia
