Vietnam: The Girl in the Picture
On June 8, 1972, in Trang Bang, the South Vietnamese air force bombed a temple with napalm. It doesn't shelter Viet Cong soldiers, but their own fighters and civilians. Witnessing the event, a young photographer sees a nine-year-old girl emerging from the gigantic wall of flames who finds herself in his lens. He doesn't know it yet, but he freezes forever the figure that will embody 'the hell of Vietnam'.'The girl in the photo' retraces the extraordinary story of this young burnt girl whose terrible photo will contribute, by its power, to overturn world opinion about the Vietnam War
