The story of the first visits to Britain by the label's acts, when artists including the Supremes, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Stevie Wonder toured the nation in 1965. The documentary reveals how it changed the UK's popular culture for ever and helped propel the Motown artists to international stardom. Featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the tour shot by Colin Green of Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, and photographs of the stars in the UK, while some of the fans who attended make an emotional return to venues like Liverpool and Leicester where a night of musical magic changed their lives
