In a world where the asteroid impact that wiped out the dinosaurs never happened, humans have evolved as a primitive species while the giant lizards remain the dominant life form on Earth. A young apatosaurus becomes separated from his family, but finds a friend in a feral human boy as he makes the dangerous journey home.
