Five Minutes of Heaven
In Lurgan, Co Armagh, 19-year-old Catholic Jim Griffin is killed by 17-year-old Ulster Volunteer Force member Alistair Little during the Troubles of 1975. Griffin's murder is witnessed by his younger brother, Joe, who is left traumatised as a result. Years later, a reconciliation project is set up, bringing Joe Griffin into contact with Little, who has served a 12-year prison sentence. While the justice system might believe Little has paid for his crime, Griffin thinks otherwise, and heads to the rendezvous with murder in mind. Fact-based drama, based on the real-life killing of Jim Griffin, with the modern day encounter serving as a fictional epilogue to the incident. James Nesbitt, Liam Neeson, Anamaria Marinca and Mark Davison star
