Jane learns worrying information about Edward's behaviour but she still doesn't know exactly what happened to Emma. Troubled, she's spurred on to find out more about the tragic young woman and confronts Edward, who admits he had a relationship with her. In flashback, Emma is called to the police station where the detectives are picking apart her assault - but the session ends unexpectedly.
