Music and stories from Scotland and around the world in 1982. The year saw the introduction of the 20 pence piece and Channel 4 exploded onto the nation's TV screens. In sport, Scotland brought home 26 medals from the Commonwealth Games and Jocky Wilson became World Darts Champion. The Pope toured the UK and conducted an open air mass in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park. The Jam and Madness were riding high in the charts and ET became the movie star of the year
