When evidence reveals an NCIS team member is a hitman's latest target, the team members are tasked with searching through old case files to determine who is seeking vengeance. Reeves dies from injuries sustained in the gunfight with the mugger, having instinctively protected Abby, who ends up in the hospital. It transpired the mugger was hired by Robert King, who held a grudge against Abby since his arrest. Looking over Reeves' body in the autopsy room, Abby vows to carry on his wish to start a charity in his native London, deciding to leave NCIS to do so. Pauley Perrette stars
