Seema Jaswal presents coverage of the evening session on day six from the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, featuring the conclusion of the final first-round match and the start of the opening second-round contest. John Higgins made his Crucible debut back in 1995 and has won this title on four occasions. He rolled back the years in the corresponding session of the 2024 tournament with a 10-6 victory over Jamie Jones to book his place in round two, and he went on to reach the quarter-finals.
