The Vallelys are a family of musicians and artists from Armagh. JB Vallely is one of Ireland's foremost painters and he and his wife Eithne founded the Armagh Pipers Club. Three of their sons are hugely important figures in traditional music - Niall plays the concertina in Nomos and in Buille, Caoimhín who plays the fiddle and piano, was a member of the band North Cregg and Cillian is the Uilleann piper with internationally renowned touring group Lúnasa
