In Edinburgh, ambulance crew members Hollie and Julie race to a building site where a wall has collapsed. They expect to attend to two injured builders. Unfortunately when they arrive it becomes clear that there are far more casualties than expected. In the Borders, Mark and Lee take a seriously injured woman, who has been kicked by a horse, to Borders General Hospital. It soon becomes apparent that the kick has caused some serious damage to the patient's kidney and she needs some immediate specialist care
