In 1997, Louis met adult-movie stars in California's San Fernando Valley to explore the psychological effects of having sex in public and on film. Now he returns to discover an industry in crisis due to the deluge of free internet porn - and when he tries to catch up with some of the actors he finds one has fled, another has been sent to prison and a third has killed himself. He also talks to some of the new performers, asking how they cope in a business that offers less money, more insecurity and greater stress than ever before
