Jacqui Oatley presents coverage of day two from Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, featuring the concluding eight first-round matches, played over the best of five sets. Last year was the final year of the event as a non-ranking one and, unlike this year, the top eight players received byes to the second round. However, Stephen Bunting was among those who started their tournament in round one, and he claimed a hard-fought 6-5 victory over Ross Smith before going on to win the tournament.
