Teenage prodigy Luke Littler, coming out of a breakthrough performance in the 2024 World Championship, claimed his first major honour here last year, overcoming three of the world's leading players in Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen. He went on to enjoy an excellent year that saw him win the Premier League, World Series of Darts Finals and Grand Slam of Darts, and it will be a surprise if he is not in contention again this time around.
